Interactivity - Human Interface

As predicted at the end of year one, the web pathway on the Multimedia course will not only incorporate the fundamentals of web design (including graphics, screen layout and visual heirarchy) and web page programming (html, htm, xhtml, css, actionscript and javascript) but will offer an understanding and analysis of human interfacing in regard to usage of web applications and other technologically based media. The importance of the way in which a person can interact with web applications is heavily stressed. We are to understand that it is key to make interaction between user and application is to be as simple and easy to learn as possible. Expect much more on this throughout the year.
